First Class: February 1
Last Class: April 12
Duration: 10 sessions (Feb 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5 - can go to April 12 if we need to cancel/reschedule a session)
Zoom info, learning materials, & other course info will be sent to the email address you use to check out / register: if you have overzealous spam filters on your email inbox, please make sure both accounts@jlearnhub.com and rae@jlearnhub.com are on the allow-list so you don't miss any important updates!
This course is taught via Zoom; digital learning materials are included in the cost.
This Hebrew School for Grown-Ups course is open to anyone 18+ (not because I don't teach younger folks -- I do! -- but rather because the teaching methodologies differ for younger brains, and this course is formulated for adult brains!)
Financial Aid: Since I had to condense the session offerings more than anticipated for this year, if you were hoping to register for the PWYC (Pay-What-You-Can) session OR need to set up a payment plan, please email rae@jlearnhub.com and I'll work with you, promise!
Out-of-class time commitment: Approximately 15 minutes of daily practice between course sessions is expected, plus 1-2 audio recordings per month for reading assessment to be created outside of class time and submitted via email.
NOTE: As an adaptive educator, RaeAn is trained to modify the pace of the course to the needs of the learners within it, so every group can cover a slightly different amount of material per course. Hebrew letter mastery usually takes two courses (Hebrew Letters 101 and Hebrew Letters 102). We'll cover at least half the letters in 101, then 102 will be offered after Passover, in summer, and/or fall to review letters covered so far, finish the rest of them, and work on reading fluency/speed/recall efficiency.
